June sees the return of the
acclaimed Southport International
Jazz
Festival, which in recent years has established itself
firmly on the music calendar, attracting famous names such
as Heather Small, Snake Davis, Jamie Cullum, Courtney Pin,
BBC Radio Big Band and Big Chris barber Band to perform in
the resort. June also sees the Southport Pier become the
centre of attention - hosting the Southport
Pier Extravaganza, offering fun for all the family. The
Historic Car Rally also takes place, already established
as one of the largest events of its kind in the North West.
